EU Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way. Learning to code helps us make sense of the rapidly changing world around us and the EU Code Week website has a range of resources and toolkits for teachers to help you get started. This year #CodeWeek runs from 9th-24th October.

Joining the scheme and becoming a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility, learn new skills, develop and demonstrate leadership skills and be a real help for busy teachers.

National Coding Week is a volunteer-led organisation aiming to help build people’s confidence and skills by encouraging volunteers to run fun and engaging digital events. Digital Leaders are children with a passion for technology who want to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout the school.
